The community service that has been carried out by agro-industrial technology education study program, regarding increasing value of melinjo peel in Karangtawang Village, Kuningan – West Java, has attracted public enthusiasm.
In January 2021, students of UPI Agroindustrial Technology Education Study Program had opportunity to share their knowledge and innovation through “Si Unyil”, an educational program broadcast by Trans7, national TV channel.
Shooting took place at Agricultural Product Processing Technology Laboratory of UPI Agroindustrial Technology Education Study Program. On this occasion, the students explained about processing of melinjo peel into tea products and melinjo peel nuggets.
Hopefully this coverage can motivate other students to be creative in innovation, bringing great benefits to many people.
