Higher education in the agro-industry sector is needed to produce competent educators in the agro-industry sector. Unfortunately, the supply of vocational teachers from vocational teacher education graduates considers very insufficiently.
In the 2008/2009 academic year, UPI took the initiative to open an Agro-industrial Technology Education Study Program to meet the needs of teaching staff and practitioners in the agro-industry sector. At that time, there were no universities that produced teaching staff in the agro-industry sector.
Therefore, this study program prepares teachers with academic and professional abilities in agro-industrial vocational schools, government, and private institutions.
EDUFORTECH journal is a medium for development and publication of scientific papers for researchers, teachers and practitioners in the field of agro-processing technology, and agro-industrial technology education.
EDUFORTECH is published by the UPI Agro-industrial Technology Education Study Program, twice a year.
The Editorial Board accepts articles both in Indonesian and English, especially those research in the field of food processing and preservation technology; food biotechnology; functional food processing technology; food safety; agricultural product technology education and other relevant topics.
