Agroindustrial Technology Education Study Program received international accreditation from AQAS

Agroindustrial Technology Education Study Program has received international accreditation from AQAS (Agency for Quality Assurance by Accreditation of Study Programs) based in Germany. This accreditation is valid from May 31, 2021 to September 30, 2027.

The achievement has gone through a series of processes starting from preparation of SER (self-evaluation report), review by expert panel, digital site visit, to the final results of accreditation. The SER preparation has been carried out since mid-2019 by the team, then reviewed by expert panel from AQAS. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the site visit, which was supposed to be held in 2020, has been postponed to March 2021 virtually. The digital site visit, which was held on March 5-11, 2021, consists of several sessions, namely: expert panel discussions with UPI leaders, faculty leaders, virtual campus tours, expert panel discussions with lecturers, students and alumni.

Hopefully this international accreditation will encourage quality improvement and study program development as well as benefit the community.
